I love gingerbread, either cookies or cake and this is the season for both. Also enjoy homemade pot holders. I scanned one I made this afternoon from a pattern purchased at a local quilt store.
I need to dig through my stash to see if I have more brown fabrics that might work for this pattern .... they will make nice little gifts.

Great to meet you, thank you for the kind comment. The pottery on my kitchen shelf is 'dawn' by Johnson brothers, which i collect. There is greendawn, Greydawn (pale blue) Rosedawn and Goldendawn. I used to collect only the blue but once I saw all the colours together i was hooked.
