Fabric for the borders...

In luck, the quilt store had some of the gray fabric left so I bought enough to add borders to my Chinese coins lap quilt.... which had grown to a healthy 64" x 74" in size. I feel like I  created an abstract painting with all those lovely bright fabrics... then adding a running stripe of the same fabrics works to frame the awesome colors.

Our grass is beginning to turn green and so have the weeds that are growing in the grass!

Hello!!! This top is really OK with the borders!!! I love how it turned out. I've never made a Chinese coins top, maybe one day...
You have a fantastic collection of bright scraps, it's great on this top!(And I like your old wooden fence too!! :))
Thank you for your comment. I've never heard about evening primroses before... so many things to learn! I'll look for more information about those flowers!
Hugs, Tiziana
